If your site generates traffic, you could be making money in your sleep with Google AdSense.

(November 16, 2003 - Westchester County, NY) Google’s AdSense program is free to web publishers – in fact, it’s better than free, it pays you money.

Here’s how it works:

Google has advertisers who pay for traffic that Google sends to their sites. Google needs a method for delivering this traffic, and AdSense is Google’s way of paying you for that method.

Our client’s are making money without thinking about it – Google AdSense can pay.

If you already have a web site that delivers useful, targeted information, there are probably advertisers who would love to be on your site. But banner ad sales are not very profitable, and the amount of time and energy devoted to banner ad management can quickly make them costly.

One answer for web site owners is to let Google do the selling for you through their AdSense program. How much you earn will depend on how many of your site visitors click through the Google Ads.

Case Study: We put Google AdSense on one of our client sites that generates about 20,000 to 25,000 page views monthly. Their visitors are served Google AdSense Ads on certain, specific pages of their site. They don’t want them everywhere, and with Google AdSense they can pick and choose the location and layout of the ads. Google determines what ads to serve based on the content of the page that the ads appear on.

These ads are generating an average of over $400 a month for this client, with absolutely no effort required. If they choose to put the ads on more pages, they’d probably make a lot more. And, as our client’s traffic grows, so do the AdSense dollars. In addition to the very warm sales leads this non-ecommerce site generates, this “free” money is helping their site pay for itself in just a few years. After that, it’s all gravy.

The AdSense program is able to determine what each of your web pages is about, and deliver ads that directly relate to it. Worried about the competition’s ads showing up on your site? No problem – you can block them.

AdSense is not for every site. But if you have an information resource site that gets a decent amount of traffic, you could be earning extra money from it.
